Kellie Walters

Kellie is a seasoned C-Suite professional with extensive experience in business strategy development and operational management across China, Oceania, the United States and southeast Asia. She is uniquely qualified in the establishment and management of international organisations operating in the sustainability space.

With an academic background in chemistry, sustainability and business, Kellie also combines technical proficiency with strategic expertise to influence global policy implementation in the areas of soil restoration, food security and climate impact mitigation.

In order to pursue her broader professional interests, Kellie co-founded Nirrwara Global – a First Nations project management company specialising in delivering credit-based and offset programs to help corporations meet their ESG goals – and heads up Regen AgTek, focusing on the development and delivery of novel regenerative farming technologies.

Kellie is presently a Director of a number of environmental businesses and is undertaking her Doctorate in Business Administration, specialising in Regenerative Business in the Food System.

Paulette Oldfield

Paulette is a transformation and change professional, project manager and community leader. Her work focuses on leading complex change, strategic development and relationship management.
A pragmatic approach with a start it, finish it mindset, underpins Paulette’s challenge-led approach, as does a passion for community and problem solving.
With proven capability in building and nurturing relationships, Paulette has been involved in many projects across private and public sectors, including Government, Finance and Mining. Paulette currently sits on the board of The Mini Farm Project and is accredited in Transformation, Change, Leadership, and Project Management.

Craig Fox

Craig is a hospitality professional, having owned and operated Wine & Dine’m catering for 23 years as well as other hospitality based businesses.
 
Craig and his business have been long time supporters of MFP with the first iteration of MFP starting at the premises of Wine & Dine’m in 2016.
 
In the course of delivering high end catering, he has seen that food can be looked upon as a luxury item and is acutely aware of food security issues and looking at how both can work in harmony to allow one to support the growth of access to quality food for the other.
 
He is uniquely connected to the food industry and is positioned to be able to look into the commercial side of mini farm project identifying new markets as well as using his business knowledge to look strategically at how to create commercial partnerships to further the sustainability of the business model of MFP.

Thad Hollis

Thad has B.A. in History and Foreign Affairs with a concentration in Developmental Economics.  He also has a M.A. in Management and Human Resource Development and several Dispute Resolution certifications.

He has worked in banking, law, international insurance and broking, telecoms, industrial relations, automotive industry, construction and the public sector.

In 1993 he left employment as an accountant in the insurance industry to become a Labour Mediator for the Bermuda Government.
 
He is an accredited mediator (AMDRAS), a Family Disputes Resolution Practioner, a Certified Conflict Coach and Divorce Coach.

Thad has supported the Charity Sector by serving on several boards in the past, in the areas of education, food insecurity and alcohol and drug awareness. Besides serving of the Board of the Mini Farm Project Thad is currently the Deputy Chair of a Food Bank that has the purpose of reducing food insecurity.

Our Founder

Nick Steiner, the Founder and CEO of The Mini Farm Project, is a relentless advocate against food insecurity in Australia. His journey began by transforming his own backyard into a thriving farm. Recognised for his exceptional community contributions, Nick received the prestigious Paul Harris Fellowship and became an AMP Tomorrow Maker alumni. His dedication was further acknowledged when he was named Moreton Bay Citizen of the Year. Through The Mini Farm Project, particularly the Loganlea State High School charity farm, Nick bridges communities, businesses, and youth to combat food scarcity, offering fresh sustenance to thousands in need, while fostering community collaboration and dismantling barriers for students and the community.
