Human roles stay focused on what genuinely needs a person — leadership, relationships, and farming itself. Our Founder and CEO handle strategy, partnerships and major decisions; Farm Managers and Farmers do the physical, judgement-heavy work of running a farm well.
Everything else — donor communications, compliance tracking, financial summaries, reporting, even a meaningful share of marketing production — runs through AI systems built specifically for this organisation, with human sign-off wherever it matters.
The result isn't a charity trying to look cutting-edge for its own sake. It's simply less overhead. Fewer administrative salaries means more of every dollar from every product sold goes to farms, food and training, rather than to running an office.
It's also faster: reporting that might take a small charity's team a week to compile can turn around in a day, which means we can be genuinely transparent with donors and partners about exactly where things stand, not just at year's end.
We're not precious about this model — final oversight always sits with a human bookkeeper, accountant and our Board of Directors, and always will.
