Pim Cha Nok: Fashion With a Farm Behind It

Pim Cha Nok: Fashion With a Farm Behind It

Pim Cha Nok is proof that a genuinely new idea and a genuinely good cause can launch together, rather than one being bolted onto the other after the fact.

It's a brand-new Australian fashion label, founded by Fern Kelly, built around considered design and real craftsmanship rather than logos and mass production. The bags are made to be carried every day — not packed away as "the charity one" — which is exactly the point. A product built to actually be used, again and again, does far more good over its lifetime than one bought once out of guilt and left in a drawer.

Every Pim Cha Nok bag sold funds 10 meals for Australian families in need, on top of being a genuinely well-designed piece from a label just getting started. We partnered with Fern because we wanted a collaborator as ambitious about their own new chapter as we are about ours — a founder choosing to build purpose into a business from its very first collection, rather than adding it in years later once the brand is established.

It's also a chance to reach people who'd never think to look for us in a charity context at all — people who follow fashion, not food-relief statistics, and who'll discover the mission because they liked the bag first. That's a good problem to have, and exactly the kind of audience crossover this whole range is designed to create.
